About Us
Seeking Social Justice is a club at U-32 helping to build a community that centers inclusivity and equity. SSJ spearheaded the campaign to change our WCUUSD policies on hate symbols. In recent years, we have organized many events, including a Queer Youth walkout, the raising of the Progress Pride flag, facilitated dialogues and brave conversations, created educational workshops for our peers, co-organized a vigil and fundraiser for Ukraine with our music department, and so much more.
We are committed to imagining the
most just and joyful learning communities possible.
Students and staff are welcome to join us. We meet on Tuesdays, during call back, usually in the Library's classroom, sometimes there are snacks.
